A charming Victorian house, carefully converted and quietly tucked away in own wooded grounds in central Ambleside. Formerly used as the vicarage for the parish of St Mary's, it overlooks Rothay Park and is tucked away from traffic noise. There is ample free car parking within the grounds. Ideal base for exploring the surrounding fells or boating on lovely lakes. Fishing, riding, golfing and sailing are just a few of the facilities available nearby. There is a spacious and comfortable lounge available for guests' use and a small snooker table. We have our own heated indoor swimming pool, sauna, hot tub, sun lounge, wifi internet access and roof top terrace.

Lake House and Hideaway Cottage are situated overlooking Windermere at Waterhead Bay, Lake House offers visitors a quality environment but with a relaxed style. The establishment is centrally placed ideal for exploring the whole area. Lake house has various styles and sizes of accommodation to suit every need, all rooms are en-suite and have flat screen t.v, DVD player and music system and tea and coffee facilities. Some rooms have a lake view at a supplement. Guests staying at Lake House have the use of the pool and restaurant (evening meals) at The Regent, which is just 400 yards away. Traditional Lakeland breakfast is served in the dining room with an array of continental breads, cereals, smoked fish and fruit with wonderful lake and mountain views.

We have 18 of 2 bed self catering apartments which are rented by the week from Saturday to Saturday and 2 hotel bedrooms (1 double and 1 triple) The self catering apartments are fully self contained with everything one could wish for. The double hotel room consist of a double bed, ensuite bathroom, two seater settee, television/dvd player, small fridge and coffee/tea facilities. The triple hotel room are as the double room but with an extra single bed and chair. All our rooms have wireless internet access for a small fee.One car parking space is allocated to each apartment and hotel room.

Broadview is a friendly Victorian Guest House situated a short stroll from the centre of the village of Ambleside and Lake Windermere at Waterhead.
